been busy with the final edit the past couple of days. its been a tough but good experience so far. basically what i am doing is shaping the film, for possibly the one last time. so i pretty much have to decide for myself everytime i move onto another scene, that the one before is as good as it can possibly get and thats enough, more importantly, the audience will perfectly understand what i'm saying etc.
so really its tough making those decisions, cus you have to be really brave to expect people to get what it is that your'e saying....oh well enough about that...
anyone keenly looking forward to this film, well i have to first warn you...its pretty abstract this film, my definition of that is that, its a film that will let you make up your mind about it, rather than the other way round...
another thing, its totally unconventional, in that...it doesnt have a traditional form of presentation like any movie...
imagine your'e watching a series of, hopefully interesting interviews that a cameraman has with the film-maker....thats it....technically its no better than blair witch or anything.....
but it has a lot to say.....

Yo.......han,
Way to go,maan! We are all geared up to watch your 'confessions'.Abstract or not--as long as itz got something to say--we are all 'ears'.
What i really worry is--"how will you get the right audience for this film?"Its not a regular 'run of the mill' stuff...but how will you draw the educated class (who are open to thought provoking ideas and opinions) to see your movie? The key to its future lies on how much exposure your film gets to the right audience? And if it does,i have a strong instinct that it'll be critically acclaimed,if not a commercial success(which i am praying it will be).Believe me,here in US,i come across so many 'educated professionals'--who still get a high watching a Chiranjeevi break coconut between two fingers or a Balakrishna displayin his comic timing).Thats why i think--publicity and the correct audience will serve as a good trial for 'confessions'.
Wutz the tag line to the filuum,btw?Tollywood..bam bam!:)
Good luc!

hi swaps
thanks for your encouraging comments. i agree with your view about the right audience and all. i have a challenge ahead.
i was thinking of a tagline...something like
"confessions of a film-maker".....
'can you handle the truth?'
hi yohan!
nice to see u making a great move to change the perspective of cinema industry, atleast if u hav the point ppl will accept it brother........i pray ur movie to be eye opener n first of its kind. it was disgusting to watch a miserable song with idiotic dressing whenever they feel like fucking.(not to say, the industry is so biased with big old fat asses holding the driving seat... n the audience are tuned so pathetic tat they simply watch them n praise the granny tricks played by so called hero)
hav a gud time brother
waiting for ur movie
