thnks a lot and looking forward to c u at the preview theatre...(4 all those who r in india) and hey swaps, jaris , amit..and all.. i know how much u people wanna have a glimpse of anish's film. lets hope a theatre release over thr for u ppl.
Hi Anish... nice talking to u over phone... I can feel the confidence in your voice.... Kudos for the bold attempt & All the best. cee u at the theatre...!
Alfred Hitchcock once said in an interview that he did not "watch the movies" One wonders why a filmmaker like him never chose to see the world from an eye different from his own. Or, did he think that films did not show the world the way he saw them and how could one show it in a way that it wasn't?!
All the best for the preview & the poster is great!
thank you kiran ...that does remind me that films by themselves have a purpose which varies person to person ..but there is a sincerity to which each one attempts..to meet, the standards of the art which is defined by the filmmaker's understanding of the same(ART). and his desire to contribute to this is what makes him believable and adorable. this i truly believe applies to any field. Some times this definition of ART becomes so much like a vision to some filmmakers that they refuse to see the other person's vision. That is justified more so with director's like hitchcock whose contribution to this field has been tremendous.
Having said this i also want to mention that this when it comes to other fields it might not be the same ....coz universally there is a common agenda in other fields. like in architecture. i hate it when frank ghery, or corbusier fall trap to this vision which differs from the common good for people. that is what makes films so much more explorable beyond doubt. it does not have any such limitations like in other fields of art or otherwise. I think this film is like that without limitations with a freedom to express.

"are movie made for us ? or for themselves?"
let me watch ur diary and answer that..
but my general answer is "they took the audience beyond reform"
sooooooooooo manyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy radicallllllllll and honest persons should start dominating the industry....
we can change the mindset of a director, but it's tough to change a superstar's thought process..they r living it and enjoying every bit of it...
i even feel that some superstars may even appreciate u for their own goodwill to show that they support u, but in real they don't give a damn...
good luck "cof" team
"Are movies made...?" That is a nice one...
